Your information helps us respond to enquiries, provide support and review job applications. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it and how to contact us about it.
Who this policy covers
This policy describes how GeotechOS handles personal information through this public website, including its regional versions, contact and support forms, and careers application form.
Customer software accounts, project records and other data processed within GeotechOS products may be governed by a separate customer agreement, product privacy notice or data processing agreement. This website policy does not replace those documents.
Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to share with us. The fields depend on the form you use:
- Contact enquiries: your name, email, country, enquiry type and message, plus company, phone number and product of interest if you provide them.
- Support requests: your email, enquiry type, topic and message, and the product you select for product support.
- Job applications: your name, email, location, area of interest, cover letter and CV, plus your phone number and portfolio link if you provide them.
- Technical information: session and security cookies, your selected region, and browser or connection information used by our website infrastructure and spam protection.
Please share only information relevant to your request. Avoid sending passwords, payment card details, government identification or sensitive information about yourself or other people through these forms. If you include someone else’s information, make sure you are authorised to share it.
How we use information
We use the information collected through this website to:
- Respond to your questions, arrange product conversations and handle support requests.
- Assess job applications and communicate with applicants about opportunities relevant to their application.
- Keep a record of enquiries and applications, deliver email notifications and follow up on requests.
- Operate the website, remember your region preference, prevent abuse and investigate technical or security issues.
- Meet applicable legal obligations and resolve disputes relating to our interactions with you.
Submitting an enquiry or application does not automatically subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. If we ask to use your information for a separate purpose, we will explain that purpose and obtain consent where required.
Storage, security and international processing
Submitted CV files are stored outside the website’s public media directory and are also attached to application emails. Enquiry and application details are held in our website records and may also appear in the email correspondence used to handle them.
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Selecting a regional website changes the site experience; it does not select or guarantee a data storage country. Contact us if the location of processing is important to your enquiry.
We use safeguards appropriate to the website, including form validation, security verification and submission rate limits. No website, email system or method of transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
How long information is kept
Retention depends on the purpose of the record, whether an enquiry or application is still active, and any legal or record-keeping obligations. The website does not automatically delete submissions or CVs after a fixed period.
You can contact us to ask about information we hold or request its deletion. We will consider the request under applicable law and explain any reason we need to retain information. Browser preferences are separate from submitted records and can be cleared in your browser.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can choose whether to submit a form. Required fields are needed to handle that type of request; optional fields can be left blank.
You may ask for access to, or correction of, your personal information. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to deletion, restriction, portability, objection or withdrawal of consent. These rights can have exceptions, and withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
To make a request, use our contact form and select General enquiry. Tell us what you would like us to review and use the email address associated with your submission where possible. We may need to verify your identity before disclosing or changing information. Do not send identification documents unless we explain why they are needed and how to provide them securely.
Questions, complaints and changes
If you have a privacy question or complaint, contact our team and include enough detail for us to investigate. We will review the concern and respond. You may also contact the privacy regulator responsible for your location, including the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner where Australian privacy law applies.
We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The date at the top of this page identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide additional notice of a material change.
